This Day course will teach you all the skills to safely carve your own Wood Spirit.
Relax whilst the Forest Knights Instructor team guide you through carving your own figure. Let the cares of the world pass you by as you enjoy this timeless activity. During the spoon carving day you will learn to use a knife safely and effectively.
Basic wood spirit carving
All equipment and insurance will be provided.
By the end of the course you will:
Be able to identify suitable carving woods;
Know how to mark out your carving.
Be able to select and maintain equipment suitable for spoon carving. Axe, Knife and Gouges.
Safely use a variety of cutting techniques to create your own woodspirit.
