Emma is a lover of the outdoors and grew up camping and walking with her family. From a young age, she helped in the garden and foraging for berries. Her interest and love of plants grew from this.Emma completed her four year degree in Herbal Medicine at Middlesex University in 2005 and joined The National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH) who are the oldest and largest professional body of Herbalists worldwide.As well as providing Herbal consultations, talks and workshops, she particularly enjoys leading herb walks and outdoor workshops. They provide the opportunity to see and experience herbs growing in the wild and how they change through the seasons and in different environments. She is a firm believer that Herbal Medicine is the medicine of the people and is passionate about educating people in the safe use of herbs and how to make remedies for simple ailments and knowing when they need professional advice.
